Il Liceo Galilei di Selvazzano Dentro
è nato per l’esigenza di realizzare una nuova scuola secondaria superiore per
gli indirizzi scientifici, linguistici e tecnologici nel territorio ad ovest di
Padova. L’istituto è stato realizzato recuperando il vecchio edificio dismesso
della scuola media inferiore affiancandovi un nuovo fabbricato interamente
destinato alle aule.
Il progetto prevedeva di ristrutturare
gli spazi della vecchia scuola media, mantenendo la palestra, l’aula magna e la
biblioteca esistenti. Era previsto di organizzare al piano terra i laboratori e
le aule speciali per i vari indirizzi didattici, ricavando un laboratorio di
chimica, un laboratorio di informatica, una biblioteca, un laboratorio di
scienze e biologia, un’aula da disegno e alcuni spazi per la segreteria. e al
piano primo le aule scolastiche del triennio. L’edificio è stato adeguato alle
vigenti normative sulla sicurezza, sulla prevenzione incendi, sull’abbattimento
delle barriere architettoniche e sull’impiantistica.
Le classi del biennio sono state
previste nel nuovo edificio costruito in aderenza all’edificio esistente
mediante la realizzazione di 18 aule distribuite su tre piani. Complessivamente
il nuovo liceo è stato progettato in modo che gli allievi possano agevolmente
usufruire di tutti gli ambienti della scuola, nelle loro interazioni e
articolazioni.
La muratura esterna del fabbricato è
stata realizzata in “Lecablocco” faccia a vista splittata, mentre le zone poste
tra le finestre sono rivestite in lamiera metallica. Gli isolamenti delle
murature sono stati realizzati con pannelli in poliuretano espanso. Nel nuovo
edificio sono stati impiegati i materiali di finitura costituiti da blocchi in
facciavista per il basamento, lamiere in alluminio preverniciato per le forme
d’angolo, frangisole e grigliati in alluminio per i corpi scala e serramenti in
alluminio e vetro per le finestre.
The Liceo Galilei of Selvazzano Dentro
was born for the need to create a new secondary school for scientific,
linguistic and technological addresses in the territory west of Padua. The
institute was built by recovering the old disused building of the lower
secondary school with a new building entirely dedicated to the classrooms.
The project envisaged restructuring
the spaces of the old middle school, maintaining the existing gymnasium,
auditorium and library. It was planned to organize on the ground floor the
laboratories and special classrooms for the various educational addresses,
obtaining a chemistry laboratory, a computer lab, a library, a science and
biology laboratory, a drawing room and some spaces for the mail. and on the
first floor the classrooms of the three years. The building has been adapted to
current regulations on safety, fire prevention, the removal of architectural
barriers and plant engineering.
The two-year classes were planned in
the new building built in adherence to the existing building through the
construction of 18 classrooms distributed over three floors. Overall, the new
high school has been designed so that students can easily take advantage of all
the environments of the school, in their interactions and articulations.
The external wall of the building has
been realized in "Lecablocco", a splitted face, while the areas
between the windows are covered in metal sheet. The insulations of the walls
were made with polyurethane foam panels. In the new building we used the finishing
materials consisting of blocks for facing the basement, pre-painted aluminum
sheets for the corner forms, sunblinds and aluminum grids for the stair and
window frames in aluminum and glass for the windows.
